Castlefield is a favourite testing ground. It’s local and for its small size it has a wonderful undulating shape. It makes an excellent sketchbook for studies and tests.

These current studies are based on Jan Dibbet's Perspective Corrections from the 1960's. They work particularly effectively at night when the image is set free from the underlying form of the land.
